This is the second draft. No changes were made after February 3rd, 2022.
I've been keeping a notebook. A notebook, a sketchbook, whatever you want to call it, I've been documenting the creative process of all this over there.
I considered including all of it in this position paper, but it's more of a living document that I'll continue updating after I turn this in. I do think of it as part of it, though.
At the time of writing, there are 32 pages on there.
References & Acknowledgements
- If any of the references to real history throughout either my position paper or my project are inaccurate, they're actually totally accurate to the world of the imaginary history presented, because I say so.
Part One
- The story of King Arthur is recounted largely off the top of my head, but my personal primary reference points for the Arthurian mythos are Disney's The Sword in the Stone (1963) and Paul Gadzikowski's Arthur, King of Time and Space (2004-2014). I deliberately tell my own version of the story, though. Oral tradition, baby.
- The five movie posters are of King Arthur (2004), The Last Legion (2007), Arthur & Merlin (2015), King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017), and Robin Hood (2010). Wait, Robin Hood? Well, okay, the whole thing is about telling lies, I thought I might as well add another one.
